Application of SensorTack 2K gel:
1. Remove rain/light sensor from windshield
2. Remove control unit
3. Clean the sensor surface by removing old gel completely
4. Place sensor on level surface (we recommend using SensorTack Heating Box)
5. Remove closing cap from syringe
6. Attach mixer jet to syringe and lock into position
7. Attach slider to syringe
8. Apply gel to the clean optical surface
9. Let cure for a few minutes on a level surface
10. Sensor can now be re-used

At low temperatures, any two-component silicone products will require additional time to cure effectively. This can create problems for the auto glass technician when working in cold temperatures or in mobile situations especially during periods of cold weather. To accelerate the reaction time of the SensorTack gel in cold conditions, we have developed the SensorTack Heating Box. The heating box eliminates many of the problems associated with sensor gel applications:

1. A built-in level indicator and fully adjustable feet, enables the sensor unit to be located completely level ensuring that when being refilled, the gel will not spill over or into the “sensor eye” (lens).
2. When using the SensorTack Heating Box the lid is closed preventing contaminates from getting into the gel which could effect the sensor function.
3. Targeted heating of the sensor unit within the SensorTack Heating Box ensures that the gel cures quickly making it very useful for mobile applications or when working at temperatures below freezing point.
4. The SensorTack Heating Box consumes only 4 watts at 12V and can therefore be connected directly to the vehicle battery or with an adapter via the vehicle power supply system.
